…at least i hope !
Because while shooting d’Echap, another package arrived home : my Riedell R3 ordered in the US because impossible to find my size (what, 5 isn’t normal ?) anywhere else. So i paid the rollerskates themself (fortunately not expensive) as much as the postage fees.
I have no other pics because i asked the Man to open it form me and he sent me this :

I came back from the shoot, and a few days later i went to practice with my brand new rollerskates, with gaffer + toe-guards, maximum protection for the precious thing.

As soon as i wore them i understood the balance wasn’t the same as my old rollerskates. I felt like it was my first time ever, so the training has been exhausting (and by the way fater 15 days off !), really hard. Technically not int the facts really or exercices but i was about to fall at each move.
“About” until i felt, of course.
When i got up it seriously pulled and it took me a few seconds to be able to correctly bend down. Nothing too bad then.
I felt it a lot sitting in the subway, the pain was growing up…
At home i took a shower, gave a look, and wasn’t surprise (as i have a pale skin) to  see a big bruise sketch.
Night at la Villette with the Man to see MOPI, i had difficulties to find a position i could handle (a plaid blanket is not really the most comfortable thing in the world by the way). We came back home and this time it was very black.

So i’m super worried for next time, i was not in advance in Derby, the others increased well during these two weeks, i feel like i’m starting all over again i’m gonna be very late :(

About Derby i’m saying it here too :

Very urgent : we are looking for an indoor space for our Paris Rollergirls trainings. It has to have a flat and smooth floor, size of basket/handball’s ground.

We have nowhere to go this winter ! Thank you in advance for any help…

DVDs !

I ordered some DVDs i started to receive.
I simply didn’t have ANY Corey Haim movie on DVD. Only VHS, and some Divx i found to be able to watch his filmography almost unobtainable in France.

On 24th, i received this :

Prayer of the Rollerboys, dvd zone 2 with the movie dubbed in french only.
the Man likes rollerskate, the Man usually like movies about rollerskate. the Man would accept to watch this movie with me if i didn’t have it in english with no-subbtitles.
So Honey, problem solved, happy ?

On 28th, i received this :


Lucas : verrrrrrrry beautiful movie i like a lot, watch it if it’s not already done !
Fever Lake : unknown, it smelled Z movie, i watch a lot of stupid “horror” movies, so if we add Corey Haim to the cast i can’t be more motivated.
The Man was here and wanted to please me, we watch it together (he tries to be nice because i’m flirting with depression lately). So… i won’t recommend it, it worse than i imagined. but it’s also full of  failed link shots so it can be a bit funny. But in outline it’s really bad. And Corey is awfully dressed. But it’s good to see him.

The Man went shopping then and search a shop and bring me presents :
He called me 2/3 times to ask me if this or this dvd would interest me, but in the mean i think he is doing well with only some appreciated actors’ names !

And especially this one !

Exactly what i’m looking for right now.
Totally nonsense DVD !

On the back the pictures are from Dream Machine with the sum-up of License to drive (!!!!).

Everywhere it’s written Corey Haim but he doesn’t appear in the crew,  Corey Feldman yes (maybe that explains the confusion on price minister where i saw him credited as the director).

So suspense when you insert the DVD… Dream Machine ? License to Driver ?… Well License to Drive !

But “chassis d’enfer” is really supposed to be Dream Machine… so i’m wondering if the french of Dream Machine really exists !! Unless i only had an edition of a spoiled serie. Anyway that mess is huge and it makes me think of the porn industry (the french one btw i don’t really know elsewhere) which adores wrong-spelling or names that don’t match with the movie on cover !

edit : after watching it i can say it’s even worse, when you put the movie it starts in the middle of the credits (so you don’t even see the 2 Coreys names), later the image “jumps” (like it is a copy of an old VHS) and totally bug another time, you have to forward a bit and then it starts again a bit sooner. In outline, you only have to get it for the ultimate collection.

I’ll go with zone 1 DVDs for these 2 movies i guess ^^

Pouf Party

It was on my list of things i had to talk about in my blog. Unfortunately i didn’t have the time before the party itself.
Thanks Facebook for being so useful to share events, but i’m loosing my good habits ^^

RDV on the party page (french) to discover what it is exactly. Keep it in mind cause there will probably be more parties :)

I went there with some of the Echap crew, the Pouf Party was organized by Noémie Alazard-Vachet, it gave us a good excuse to meet up.
